Dorothy Lorraine Swartz, 56, of Dover died Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at her home. She had worked as a property manager. A 1983 graduate of Red Land High School, she loved her dogs, gardening, crafting, and especially her grandchildren. She was born October 16, 1964 in Harrisburg. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, John C. Carey, brother, Paul Swartz, and sister, Tracy Robinson. She is survived by her children, Tessa Marie Swartz (Brian Hippman) of Etters and Garrick G. Fisler of Wellsville; mother, Patricia A. Carey of Mechanicsburg; boyfriend, Donald L. Fisler; brother, Edward John Carey of Carlisle; and grandchildren Aiden, Benjamin, and Ivy. Memorial services will be held at 11am, Saturday August 28th at Daybreak Church, Orrs Bridge Road Campus, 321 Gettysburg Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Suicide Prevention Alliance, https://www.suicidepreventionalliance.org/ or the funeral home to assist with expenses.
