Autumn Treadvance Obituary

Autumn Suzanne Treadvance was born November 19, 1966 to the late Fredrick and Nancy Randolph. She was the only child of that union. Autumn was born and raised in Bridgeport CT. She attended Thomas Hooker Elementary and Harding High School. Autumn attended Housatonic Community College and Southern Connecticut State University and received her Associates Degree and Bachelor’s Degree. Autumn worked for Center for Families Justice in Bridgeport performing social service work with battered women and families. She was a Pre-school Teacher at ABCD/Action for Bridgeport Community Development Inc. She loved helping people and small children were her soft spot. Autumn was a gentle quiet soul. She loved and cared for her family and friends. She was a member of Mount Aery Baptist Church until her health failed her. She loved to play Backgammon, Puzzles, Solitaire, and she also liked to swim and dance to Soca music. Her favorite place to dine was at Olive Garden. She had a generous nature. The one thing she desired most was to be a mother. She adored her daughter, Jazmen, and was pleased and excited to attend her High School Graduation June, 2021. Autumn was predeceased by her parents, and a very dear aunt, Alphenia H. Smith. Autumn leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Ms. Jazmen Nicole Randolph, a sister, Kamisha Randolph-Hayes (Willie), Stepmother Mrs. Betty Randolph, aunt, Mrs. Frances Gardner and a companion of 16 years Mr. Roderick Arnold known as Roger, and a host of cousins other relatives and friends. Gone but not forgotten Autumn you transitioned so quickly and too soon. As babies we always want to know a child’s first words. Your last words were “Oh God.” I want to believe when you were called, you recognized exactly who called you home. The bond that God created with you as one of the links in the chain of our family has once again been broken. How glorious it must have been to answer his call and to catch up again with our loved ones. You’ve been restored now, It’s never goodbye, it’s just we love you, and we will see you when we get there.
