Jack A. Stamp, age 67, of Persia, Iowa, passed away July 14, 2021 at CHI-Mercy Hospital. Jack was born February 13, 1954 in Council Bluffs to John F.B. and Betty (Becker) Stamp. He graduated from Neola Tri-Center High School in 1972, earned his Associate’s Degree from IWCC and served in the Iowa National Guard. Jack married Kristine Kenealy on August 10, 1974 in Neola. They were blessed with two children, Lynn and Sheri. Jack was a long-time Persia area farmer. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Persia. Jack was preceded in death by his father, John Stamp in 2016. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kris Stamp; son, Lynn (Sheralyn) Stamp; daughter, Sheri (Joe) Splichal all of Persia; grandchildren, Kelsi, Abby, Emma and Joey Jack; mother, Betty Stamp of Persia; brothers, Dave (Jean) Stamp of Woodbine, Iowa, Kurt (Caroline) Stamp of Persia; mother-in-law, Joann Kenealy of Council Bluffs; nieces, nephews and many friends. A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be celebrated Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. at the Minden, Iowa Community Center. Food and drinks will be served so please come and celebrate with the Stamp family. Private interment will be held later in the Lytle Cemetery, Persia, Iowa. Memorials are suggested Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
