Janice (Hasikima) Greene was born November 25, 1959 in Newark, NJ to the late Beulah Greene and Thomas F. Greene. Hasikima departed her life suddenly on July 7, 2021 in New York, where she resided for the past 12 years. Hasikima was born and raised in Newark, NJ where she received her high school diploma and followed her dream of being a Home Health Aide. She was also a bus attendant for Special Needs Children. Hasikima was well known for being a fashionista. She was always well dressed and stayed with her hair slayed. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Bonita and Tandalia Greene, and one brother Johnnie Mac. Janice leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Ajeenah and Aqueelah Greene; one grandchild, Zanaa Holden; four sisters, Gwendolyn Ware (NC), Carolyn Greene (NC), Debra Greene (NJ) and Lejuene Greene (NC); two brothers, Thomas Greene Jr. (FL) and George Greene (CA); and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other family and friends.
