Diane Marie Thompson, 65 of Canby Oregon passed away Thursday July 8th at Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland Oregon. Diane was born August 3, 1955 in Cottage Grove Oregon to Gordon and Elizabeth (Hockett) Goodwin. Diane was a graduate of Canby High School, enjoyed working in her flower beds, going to garage sales, and spending time with friends and loved ones. Above all, Diane will be remembered for her caring nature and how unselfishly she gave of herself to others. Diane loved to help, whether it be other people or the numerous animals that she rescued throughout her years as a volunteer. Diane was preceded in death by her husband James Thompson, father Gordon Goodwin, and brother Wayne Goodwin. Diane is survived by her children, son Michael Webster, son Terry (Karin) Webster, daughter Christine (Mike) Webster, mother Elizabeth Goodwin, brother Alan Goodwin and six grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held August 21st, 2021 12pm-2pm at Wild Hare in Oregon City.
