David Ross Dornton
<p>Age 79, of Concord Township, passed away at his home July 11, 2021 surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Linda JoAnne (maiden-Donoho) Dornton; daughter, Donna (John II) Spencer; sons, Jeffrey (Debra) Dornton and Dustin (Jen) Dornton; grandchildren, John, Chelsea, Michael, Jacob, Kristen, Alayna and Abigail; and his brother, Scott (Tina) Dornton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold L. and Margaret J. (maiden-Maple) Dornton. David retired as a Mechanical Engineer from Tenneco (Walker Manufacturing) and in his college years worked at Goodyear until he received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Western Michigan University. He loved travelling, woodworking, golf and attending Vintage Car Shows. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his Life will be held at the family home (14142 Elm Row Lane, Albion MI 49224) on Sunday August 1, 2021 from 2 until 4 pm.
