Robert Kissner

Robert G. Kissner Robert G. Kissner, a loving husband and father, passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. He was 65. Born in New Rochelle on August 16, 1946 he was the son of George and Florence Newman Kissner. Robert was an Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War, 1967 to 1969. On October 3, 1970 Robert married the former Rosalie Navarro. Mrs. Kissner survives at home. Robert retired from the Fishkill Correctional Facility. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans Seventieth Engineer Corps. In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his children, Kimberly Taylor and her husband, Jason of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee, Christine Kissner of Baltimore, Maryland and Robert R. Kissner of Wappingers Falls; his granddaughters, Breanna and Meaghan; his sister, Carol Mungo of Whitting, New Jersey; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive their friends on Sunday, May 27, 2012 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Halvey Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Willow Street, Beacon. The funeral service will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Peter T. and Patrick J. Halvey.
