MRS. JOYCE DANCY MCNEIL Mrs. Joyce Dancy McNeil, age 66, wife of George Franklin McNeil, of Winkler Mill Road, Wilkesboro died Monday, November 10, 2003 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 13, at 3:00 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with the Rev. Paul Hugger, the Rev. Christopher Fitzgerald, and Dr. Doug Danner officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Millers Creek. Mrs. McNeil was born in Wilkes County, August 20, 1937, daughter of Ira Gilbert and Ella Nora Phillips Dancy. She was a member of Pleasant Home Baptist Church. She attended Wilkesboro United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, Mrs. McNeil is survived by one son, Kevin L. McNeil of Huntersville; one sister, Katherine Hayes of North Wilkesboro; two brothers, Gilbert Dancy of Randleman and Norman Dancy of Kernersville; two grandchildren. The family will receive at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home from 6:30 until 8:30 Wednesday, November 12, 2003. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 106, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659.
