<p><strong><em><span style="font-size:22px;"><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;">Mr. Daniel Gillespie, age 87, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021.</span></span></em></strong></p> <p><strong><em><span style="font-size:22px;"><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;">Visitation will be Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 3 PM to 5 PM at the funeral home.</span></span></em></strong></p> <p><strong><em><span style="font-size:22px;"><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;">Graveside service will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 11 AM at Gates of Heaven Cemetery.</span></span></em></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><em><span style="font-size:22px;">To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the Heaven.</span></em></span></p> <p><em><span style="font-size:22px;"><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">A time to be born:</span></span></span></em><strong><em><span style="font-size:22px;"><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;">&nbsp;Daniel Gillespie was born July 4, 1934 to Charlie and Daniella Gillespie of Macon, Mississippi.</span></span></em></strong></p> <p><em><span style="font-size:22px;"><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">A time to love:</span></span></span></em><strong><em><span style="font-size:22px;"><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;">&nbsp;Daniel joined Mount Olive Baptist Church in Macon, Mississippi, as a child.&nbsp; He accepted Christ under Reverend Grubbs at Stringer Street AME&nbsp;Church.&nbsp; He was a trustee and member of the Sons of Allen.</span></span></em></strong></p> <p><em><span style="font-size:22px;"><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">A time to plant:</span></span></span></em><strong><em><span style="font-size:22px;"><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;">&nbsp;Daniel got his GED in the army and retired after 20 years of faithful service.&nbsp; He also retired from Michelin Tires after 15 years.&nbsp; After Daniel&#39;s retirement in 2004, he married the love of his life Mary E. Mr. Daniel Gillespie, age 87, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 3 PM to 5 PM at the funeral home.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 11 AM at Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

 

To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the Heaven.

A time to be born: Daniel Gillespie was born July 4, 1934 to Charlie and Daniella Gillespie of Macon, Mississippi.

A time to love: Daniel joined Mount Olive Baptist Church in Macon, Mississippi, as a child.  He accepted Christ under Reverend Grubbs at Stringer Street AME Church.  He was a trustee and member of the Sons of Allen.

A time to plant: Daniel got his GED in the army and retired after 20 years of faithful service.  He also retired from Michelin Tires after 15 years.  After Daniel's retirement in 2004, he married the love of his life Mary E. McNeal on January 19th.
