Herman Fred Manning 91 of Westwood, passed peacefully at his home. Herman was born June 09, 1930, in Ezel, Kentucky to the late Murden and Manda Salyer Manning. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his loving wife Marcella Imo Roberson Manning; a granddaughter Marci Manning; three brothers Paul, Raymond and Donnie Manning; one sister Margret Sutphin; and his son in law David King. Herman retired as the Body Shop Manager at Coggin-O’Steen Motor Company and was a member of New Beginnings Gospel Assembly. He leaves behind his children, Fred Manning (Linda) of Ashland and Charlotte King of Catlettsburg; two brothers Charles Manning (Reba) of Ashland and Emmett Manning (Johnna) of Catlettsburg; two sisters Juanita Holbrook of Ashland and Marie Talmadge of Falls Church, VA; two grandchildren Joseph Cory Manning and Samantha Erin Reeves; one great-grandchild James Wyatt Reeves; along with a host of extended family and friends. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, 12, 2021 at Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood with pastor Jackie Kackley officiating. Burial will follow at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 11-1 at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at canifffuneralhome.com.
