Clorinda M Mascarenas age 88 of Raton, passed away Saturday July 3, 2021 in Raton. She was born December 17, 1932 in Colorado. She was a home maker. Clorinda was preceded in death by her parents and one son Louis. She is survived by her husband Augustine “Gus” Mascarenas of Raton, one son Ray Mascarenas and wife Tina of Rapid City S.D. two brothers, James Gonzales of Palm Springs, CA., and Louis Gonzales of Las Vegas, NM. Two sisters Mercedes Swanson and husband David of Raton and Dolores Urioste of Las Vegas, NM.. Two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be Friday July 9. 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Patrick’s-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Raton recited by the Knights of Columbus Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 10:30 with Father William Woytavich as the celebrant. Rite of christian burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Raton. Arrangements and celebration of love for Clorinda M. Mascarenas are under the direction of the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home of Raton.
