Dick Wulf, 78, of Colorado Springs passed away on July 6th after battling cancer. Dick was born on August 27, 1942, in Palo Alto, CA. He went to UC Berkeley where he earned a BA in Social Welfare and met his wife of 55 years, Jean. After marrying in 1965, Dick and Jean moved to NYC where Dick earned his MSW from Columbia University. Upon graduating, Dick, an Army Captain, served at Ft. Leavenworth. After the Army, they relocated to beautiful Colorado. Dick spent years as the Director of the Pikes Peak Mental Health Center, had a psychotherapy practice for over 40 years, and was constantly creating meaning and content to help others and live out his faith. He authored Find Yourself-Give Yourself, invented DragonRaid, and created multiple foundations and websites. Dick dedicated his life to others in authentic, unique and creative ways that leave behind a legacy of impact. Dick loved his family dearly. He is survived by Jean Wulf, his wife of 55 years, and his 3 daughters, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. His great grandson, Callum, preceded him in death. There will be a memorial service on July 9th at 1:00 pm at Blunt Mortuary, 2229 W. Colorado Ave, Colorado Springs. The family will receive guests starting at 12:00 p.m.
