Barbara L. Sievers, 79, formerly of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on Wednesday, June 30th, at Arnold Walter Nursing Home, Holmdel. Barbara was raised in Ridgefield Park, NJ, lived in California prior to moving to Henderson, Nevada 17 years ago. Barbara worked as a bartender and a manager for Burger King in California. She enjoyed gambling and socializing with friends. She loved to catch up with family and friends over the phone and made it appoint to check in every day. Barbara was pre-deceased by her parents; Carl and Helen Schulte, husband; Kenneth Sievers in 2004, her brother; Mike Schulte, and her sister Kathy McCartan in 1998. She is survived by her daughter; Jaime Stelmach of Hazlet, her granddaughter; Ariana Schlenger, her uncle William Crane and many cousins. Arrangements were under the direction of the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private.
