Helena E. Cook, age 76, lifetime resident of Livingston County, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017. She was born September 14, 1941 in Howell, the daughter of the late Harold S. and Evelyn R. (Schroeder) Cook. Dear sister of Onalee (Bob) Alexander of Indiana and Charles (Maureen) Cook of Massachusetts; loving aunt of Laura, Karen, Joe, Emily and Jeremy; �nephews by love�, Alex and Noah. Also survived by special friends, Brad and Christina Barron. Helena was a nurse at Byron Road Medical Group in Howell for fifty years, retiring in 2012. She was a very talented quilter, owning her own company, �Grannies Cozy Quilts�. She was an amazing cook, enjoyed gardening and had held an annual massive garage sale for 37 years. Visitation will be Monday from 3-7 p.m. with a service honoring her life on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at MacDonald�s Funeral Home, Howell (517-56-2800). Interment will take place in VanKeuren Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Salvation Army.
