<p>Hassan, Eddie</p><p>It is with heavy hearts the family of the late Eddie Hassan announces his passing on June 29th. </p><p>Following a courageous battle with brain cancer. </p><p>Beloved and devoted husband of Hoda Hassan.</p><p>Dearly Loved father of Abby Basmaji ( Jacques)</p><p>Suzy Basmaji (Deeb)</p><p>And Kyle Hassan.</p><p>Adored grandfather of Anabelle, Juliette and George.</p><p>Cherished son of Inaam & Wahib Hassan.</p><p>Sadly missed by his siblings Ebtissam, Naji, Walid, Roula, Mike and their families.</p><p>Eddie will be sadly missed by his extended family, friends and business associates in Canada and Lebanon.</p><p>Eddie came to Canada at the age of 19. He worked tirelessly to establish himself as a business and community leader starting Durham Carpet in 1989, with his wife Hoda. Through his efforts he was able to sponsor his entire family to come to Canada. Eddie was so proud of all of his accomplishments and his wonderful family. </p><p><br></p><p>Friends will be received for visitation on Friday July 2nd from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa 905-433-4711. ALL GUESTS MUST PREREGISTER TO ATTEND THE VISITATION, ONLINE RSVP AT ARMSTRONGFH.CA ON THE WEBPAGE OF EDDIE HASSAN. Unregistered guests will not be allowed access to the visitation.
