<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Mrs. Margaret Poff Harris, age 78 of Patrick Springs, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at her home.&nbsp; She was born in Floyd County on August 25, 1942, to the late Bremen and Edna Hylton Poff.&nbsp; In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Malcolm Andrew &ldquo;Mack&rdquo; Harris; one sister, Janet Harrell; one brother, Kenneth Poff; and her maternal grandmother, Lillian Hylton.&nbsp; Margaret was a member of High Point Baptist Church where she played the piano, was active in VBS, sang in the choir, and served as Treasurer in the past.&nbsp; She loved the outdoors, tending to her flowers and fruit trees, and doing jigsaw puzzles.&nbsp; She was a lunch buddy at Patrick Springs Primary School and with her husband as Santa Claus, she played Mrs. Claus at the school and for other functions.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Sheree and Tim Nickelston of Lawsonville, NC; three sons and daughters-in-law, David Harris of Stuart, Michael and Dana Harris of Citz, Jeffery and Becky Harris of Patrick Springs; seven grandchildren, McCrae Nickelston and wife, Dawn, Andy Nickelston and wife, Jena, Cher Martin and husband, Kent, Kristen Harris, Makayleigh Harris, Faith Ruscelloni and husband, Christian, Nathaniel Harris and wife, Ashley; two children that were very special to her heart, Kendall and Riley Epperly; nine great grandchildren, Bailey Cook and husband, Christian, Madison Martin, Maddi Ashburn, Elizabeth, Isaiah, Emma, Eden, Adalyn, and Palmer Nickelston; and one great great grandson, J.C. Cook.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Revs. Wayne Moore, Jeffery Harris, and David Coleman officiating.&nbsp; Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens.&nbsp; The family will receive friends Monday evening at the funeral home from 6 PM to 8 PM.&nbsp; Memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice &amp; Palliative Care, 730 East Church St., Suite 13, Martinsville, VA 24112.&nbsp; Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.</p>
