Ivan Norris Singleton

Ivan Norris Singleton, age 64, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.  Born Monday, September 17, 1956, in Somerset, he was the son of Helen Pittman Sweet of Dayton, Ohio, and the late Oscar McKinley Singleton.  Norris worked as a carpenter, for 25 years, with the Brown Brothers.  In his spare time, he enjoyed Ginseng hunting, fishing, NASCAR racing, and was a big Dale Earnhardt fan.

In addition to his mother, Norris leaves behind his step-father, Lonnie Sweet of Dayton; two sons, Jeremy Norris Singleton (Robyn) of Somerset, and Jamie Allen Singleton (Amber) of Science Hill, Kentucky; three daughters, Jeanna Marie Singleton (Josh Howell) of Science Hill, and Jackee Nicole Everage (Todd) and Julie Ann Singleton both of Eubank; 10 grandchildren; and two sisters, Wendy Renee Robinson of Eubank and Brenda Linder of Dayton, Ohio.

In addition to his father, Norris was preceded in death by one sister, Valerie Lynne Adams.

A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Friday, July 2, 2021, at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home. 

A Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Friday at the funeral home.  Bro. Kerry Jones will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in Singletontown Cemetery.  Jeremy Singleton, Jamie Singleton, Todd Everage, Nathan Singleton, Josh Howell, and Jordan Singleton will serve as Active Pallbearers.
