Russell Andrew “Andy” Melton, 55, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on June 29, 2021.

He was born June 12, 1966, in Pine Bluff, to Ralph Matson Melton, Sr. and Mattie Faye Haynes Melton.

Andy graduated from Watson Chapel High School.

He served in the United States Navy on the USS Moinester as a Sonar Operator.

He was a contract driver for B & L Transport. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and working in the yard.

Andy was a loving dad and raised his children by himself for the past 12 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Ralph Matson Melton, Jr.

Survivors include his children, Caleb Andrew Melton, Eric Ray Melton, and Christopher Matson Melton all of Pine Bluff; a sister, Cynthia Shue, three nieces, Cynthia JoAnne, Rachel, Laura; a nephew, Matt Harris, and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, 6 to 8 p.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel.

Graveside service by Fuller Hale-South will be Saturday, July 3, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., at Hardin Cemetery with Reverend Joseph Scott officiating.
