<p>Angela Lin Lucas, age 63, of Oakland, MD passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at her home. &nbsp;</p> <p>Born on May 30, 1958 in Alexandria, VA, she was the daughter of the late Carole A. Gonder, formerly of Oakland and is survived by her father, Donald E. Gattshall of Norfolk, VA.</p> <p>Angela was a member of St. Peter&#39;s Catholic Church in Oakland. She grew up in Alexandria, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach, VA, and later moved to Oakland, MD. A graduate of Southern High School, she also graduated from Allegany College and Frostburg State University with a BS in science/secondary education. She was retired from the State of Maryland.&nbsp;</p> <p>Angela loved good books, classical music, travel to the beach and flea markets, gardening in her backyard, golf cart rides around the farm, and, especially, three little girls who called her Grandma.&nbsp;</p> <p>In addition to her father, she leaves behind her husband of 42 years, Adam J. Lucas, Jr., their three adult children: Sons Daniel J. Lucas and Matthew L. Lucas, and daughter in law and life, Brittney N. Lucas, beloved granddaughters who made life worth living- Dylan Shay Lucas, Laney Bea Lucas and Emersyn Leigh Lucas, all of Oakland, MD, and the many other family members and friends who have shared love and support for both Angela and Adam throughout her illness.&nbsp;</p> <p>Angela&#39;s family will receive friends on Thursday, July 1, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at C &amp; S Fredlock Funeral Home, Oakland, MD. Mass of Christian burial will be held, 11:00 am, Friday, July 2, at St. Peter&#39;s Catholic Church, Oakland, MD, with Fr. Tom Gills as celebrant. The mass will be followed with her burial at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Oakland. The C &amp; S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., is honored to be serving the Lucas Family.
