Mark "Pops" Corey

MARK “POPS” COREY, 61 of Iron Mountain, MI passed away on Wednesday June 23, 2021 at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain. Mark was born on March 13, 1960 in Menominee, MI to Edward and Jan (Blanchette) Corey. On August 26, 1977, Mark married the former Rebecca Ingram in Menominee, MI. Mark was currently employed by Lake State Roofing, Inc. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing pool. Mark was an avid fan of Michigan sports especially the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers. Survivors include his wife: Rebecca of Iron Mountian, MI; mother: Jan (Mike) Corey-Wahl of Ingalls, MI; 2 sons: Jeremy (Jayme) and their children: Hannah and Brody of Ingalls, MI and Michael and his daughter: Morgan of TN; daughter: Amanda (Josh) Hayes and their son: Austin of Iron Mountain, MI; 2 sisters: Sandy (Helene) Corey of Ingalls, MI and Lynn (Bill) Fister of Stephenson, MI; brother: Tim (Jeff) of Green Bay, WI; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Mark was preceded in death by his son: Mark; father: Edward; and brother: Scott. In keeping with Mark’s wishes no services are being held at this time. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home, Stephenson, MI is assisting the Corey family with arrangements.

POP'S and the Crew from Lake State put a roof on our house. Him and the guys were so pleasant. But the guys always picked on Pops. He was always so pleasant. RIP....POPS.

Mark we grew up together and I always loved you as my older brother. You paid attention to what me and sandy where doing. I'm not sure how much more this family can take please Lord lets let them move on. Love 💞 each and every one of you.

Mark always came to the big pool tournaments to watch and I’d see him a few times a year, I always looked forward to chatting with him about life, pool, and roofing. One of the nicest guys I’ve ever met.
