Agnes Trease Stack

Agnes Trease Stack, 85, of Lapeer, died Thursday, December 10, 2015. Agnes was born January 26, 1930 in Croswell to parents Jim and Margaret (Ultsch) Mullen. She graduated from Cros-Lex High School, class of 1950. She went on to work a few years at Chrysler as an IBM punch operator. Agnes married Howard Stack on August 8, 1959 at St Patrick's in Croswell and became a lifetime homemaker. It was known by everyone that you never left Agnes' kitchen hungry. She loved casino trips with her sister Rose. Above all, Agnes was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Agnes is survived by her husband, Howard Stack; her children: Martha (Paul) Dreier of Livonia, Walter (Karen) Stack of Lapeer, John (Patti) Stack of Lum, Barbara (Daniel) Osentoski of Lapeer and Frances (Melvyn) Corner of Lapeer; thirteen grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren; two sisters: Catherine Santoro of St. Clair Shores and Mary Ann (Donald) Barg of New York. Agnes was preceded in death by four siblings: Geralda Mullen, Pat Mullen, Rose Gordon and Joe Mullen; infant twins, Charles and Edward; and her parents. Visitation will be 4-8PM Sunday, December 13, 2015 and 1-4/6-8PM Monday, December 14, 2015 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer, Michigan. The Rosary will be prayed 7PM Monday evening. Agnes' funeral Mass will be 11:00AM Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church, Lapeer. Burial will be in Mt. Loretto Cemetery, Lapeer.
