Jessie Honeycutt, Jr., 82, of McDougal, Arkansas, passed away June 20, 2021, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas. He was born on December 8, 1938, in Pollard, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Jessie D. Honeycutt, Sr. and Itha (Hayes) Honeycutt. Jessie was united in marriage to Carolyn Janice Windle on February 13, 1964. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sons, Barry Lynn Honeycutt and Billy Gene Honeycutt; brothers, Frances D. Honeycutt and Robert Honeycutt; sisters, ImaJean Bradshaw, Bertha Melton, and Nettie Ellis. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Honeycutt; children, Junior Lee Honeycutt and wife Tonya of McDougal, Arkansas, Jimmy Honeycutt and wife Veronica of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Donna Melton and husband Doug of Broseley, Missouri; grandchildren, Brandon Finley and wife Emily of Piggott, Arkansas, Keri Fisher of Qulin, Missouri, Erin Villalobos and husband Zachary of McDougal, Arkansas, Sarah Leonard and husband William of Qulin, Missouri, Savannah Howell of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Seth Melton of Broseley, Missouri; great-grandchildren, Bethany, Ben, Kaylynn, Rachel, Johnny, Eddie, Gracelyn, and Kayden; brother, Darrel Honeycutt of McDougal, Arkansas; sisters, Elois Dickey of Farmington, Missouri, Patsy Forrest of Pollard, Arkansas, Betty Shaw of McDougal, Arkansas, and Rita Honeycutt of Neelyville, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends. Graveside service will be held Thursday, June 24, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Cummins Chapel Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas, with Johnny Bradshaw officiating. Burial is in Cummins Chapel Cemetery near Pollard, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
