Richard F. Bour

<p>Richard F. Bour, age 88, of Forward Twp., passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at home. An Army veteran during the Korean War and a ham radio operator, he was a technician with Bush Radio, a retired avionics technician with Beckett Aviation in West Mifflin, and a retired superintendent at Davis Industries in Rostraver Twp. Born January 19, 1933 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Frank J. and Catherine (Gross) Bour. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Shirley M. (Smith) Bour; daughters, Diane (Dean Sr.) Korber of West Newton, Robin (David) Wagner of Butler, Jacquline (Raymond) Sammartino of Erie and Linda (Patrick) Buono of Finleyville; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Dolores Betler of South Carolina and Mildred (John) Pearson of Florida; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by granddaughter, Samantha Rossiter. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Larry Coltura officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Richard&#39;s name to a charity of one&#39;s choice.</p>
