Walter T. Todd, Sr. passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, June 13, 2021. Born in Cambridge, MA on October 1, 1930 he was the son of the late Walter T. Todd and of the late Louise E. (Barrett) Todd of Medford, MA.

Walter was a Korean War Veteran having served in Okinawa, Japan. After his tour from the Military, he worked for many years at Sears & Roebuck in Boston, MA. Walter also worked for over 20 years at Nabisco in Mansfield, MA as the Plant Superintendent until his retirement.

Walter was married for 64 years to his loving wife Loretta F. Todd (Shannon) who passed away on August 27, 2016. He is survived by his son Walter T. Todd, Jr. of Walpole, MA, his daughter Loretta E. Todd of Foxboro, MA, his daughter Marie A. Allen and her husband Mark of Walpole, MA, his daughter Eileen M. Todd of Foxboro, MA, his son Joseph S. Todd and his wife Kristin of Foxboro, MA and his daughter Suzanne Nicholson and her husband Mark of Walpole, MA.

Walter was a loving Papa to Michelle Bourassa of Fitzwilliam, NH, Donald Franklin of Foxboro, MA, Joseph (Jess) Todd of Charlotte, NC, Kathryn Todd of Foxboro, MA, Mark Nicholson of Walpole, MA, Mark Allen of Walpole, MA, Shannon Nicholson of Walpole, MA, Christine Nicholson of Walpole, MA, Brianna Nicolson of Walpole, MA and Jack Nicholson of Walpole. MA.

Walter was a loving Great Papa (Big Papa) to Braiden Bourassa of Fitzwilliam, NH and James Franklin of Blackstone, MA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

Walter was an avid sports enthusiast and a political debater. He enjoyed reading, walking, dining out and spending time with his family. He loved the ocean and collected many of his favorite memories while there on vacation with his late wife and children.

Thank you, Dad for being such a great father and for giving us such a wonderful childhood. There is not a day that will go by without us missing you and Mom. We pray you are united with Mom and can now rest in peace. Look down on us from time to time. We will need it. And until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
