Joan T. Brittingham

Joan T. Brittingham, (nee Korsak), 88 of Collegeville, PA, died Saturday June 12, 2021 in the Seasons Hospice House, Phoenixville, PA. Born in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and the late Anna (Blissick) Korsak. Joan was a lifelong resident of Ridley Park until moving to Collegeville 5 years ago. An avid reader, Joan also enjoyed solving cryptograms, crocheting, bird watching and working in the yard. A member of the Our Lady of Peace congregation for over 50 years; she served as a lay Eucharistic minister and enjoyed singing in the choir. She was the best Babcia ever, visiting her children around the United States and across Europe. Joan was a longtime volunteer, working at the polls during elections, and helping wherever she could. Predeceased by her husband Stanley “Bud” Brittingham. Predeceased by her sisters, Lillian (Elmer) Karpovich and Genevieve (David) Clark Survived by her children: Mark (Cathy) Brittingham and John (Christine) Brittingham, Susan (Jack) Drolet and Annmarie (Stephen) Allen, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation is Thursday from 9:30 - 10:15 AM at Our Lady of Peace Church, Milmont Park, PA. followed by her funeral mass at 10:30 AM. Interment of cremains will be in Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield PA.
