Jean Ann Lovingood, 85, of Cleveland, TN passed away on June 10, 2021. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on October 22, 1935 to the late James Garnett Mavity and Dorothy O’Neil Mavity and lived the majority of her life in Cleveland. Heaven’s gain is the loss to her family and friends. She loved spending time with her sons and their families as well as her extensive group of friends and her many cousins. Jean Ann was a loyal friend and dedicated member of First Baptist Cleveland where she faithfully served as a greeter. In addition to her mother and father, Jean Ann is preceded in death by her husband James Lovingood. She leaves behind to cherish her memory two sons: Jeff Lovingood (Rachel) and Jon Lovingood (Tammy); brother Jim Mavity (Carrol) of Katy, TX; grandchildren: Trevor Lovingood (Erica), Kelsey Harper (Luke), Riley Lovingood, Courtney Foster (Drew), and Tyler Lovingood (Brooke); great grandchildren: Londyn, Leo, Layla, and Katherine Ann as well as her nephew Chad Mavity (Tiffany Raczy) and Niece Julie Maddalena (Michael) with great nephews Daniel, Benjamin, Ethan, Kai and Cole. In addition to these, Jean leaves behind numerous beloved cousins and extended family members and friends. A celebration of Jean’s life will be held on July 31, 2021 at 10am at First Baptist Church Cleveland with a graveside service to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
