Obituary
LeAnn Boyd Crim, age 65, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. LeAnn was born to loving parents, Bobby and Sally Boyd in Throckmorton, Texas. LeAnn married her high school sweetheart Sterling C. Crim in the Summer of 1974. They spent 46 wonderful years together raising 3 remarkable children. In addition to being a loving wife and mother, LeAnn dedicated most of her time and energy helping others in need. She served as a board member of the Elf Louise Christmas project as well as volunteering full time as a Managing Director of the project for over 35 years. LeAnn also spent countless hours helping to organize and raise funds in support of the indigenous Maya people of the Guatemala Highlands. LeAnn made many trips to see firsthand the impact of their support and to learn how to better understand their needs. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby G. Boyd. LeAnn is survived by her husband, Sterling C. Crim; daughter, Annie Crim Ortega, and husband, Orlando; son, Bobby Crim and wife Amanda; son, Christopher Crim and wife Joanna; six grandchildren, Gabriel, Christian, Payton, Faith, Ethan and Jason; mother, Sally Boyd; Brothers, Tommy and David Boyd; and numerous other family members and friends.
