Kevin Scott Martin

Born to Rayna Sue Irwin and John Scott Martin, and the youngest of three, Kevin Scott Martin came into this world on February 13, 1991. He was called home on June 5th to be with the Lord. His family is deeply honored and grateful to have called Son, Dad, Brother, Boyfriend, Grandson, Nephew and countless called him friend. All will forever remember his never-ending loyalty, unconditional love, kind spirit, generous heart, and sincere smile. He is survived by his girlfriend and best friend, Caitlyn Robinson; parents, Rayna Sue Irwin and step-father, Kenny Given and John Scott Martin and wife, Loretta; daughter, Mia Edwards; brother, Corey Martin and wife Carey; sister, Kristen Weron and husband, George; sister, Jenna Martin; grandparents, Irene and Charles Bland; aunts and uncles, Patsy Koch, Mary and James Miller, Lee and Roberta Martin, Lance and Geri Martin, Cynthia Herrera and Jacqueline Bland. Kevin also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Anna and Jack Irwin. The Irwins, Martins and Robinson wish to express many heartfelt thanks to friends and family for their love, support and guidance during a very difficult time. The family also wishes to express deep gratitude for Pastor Jeff Harris’ spiritual guidance to Kevin throughout the years. A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough Avenue San Antonio, Texas 78212 on Saturday, June 12th. Viewing begins 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with service to follow 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow at Hermann Son’s Ballroom, 525 South St. Mary’s St. San Antonio, Texas 78205.
