<p>ELSIE ADKISON PURVIS<br /> <br /> Elsie Purvis, 80, of Lynn Haven, passed away June 9, 2021 after an extended illness. Elsie was a native and life-long resident of Bay County, and was Assembly of God by faith. She and her late husband, Charles, were the owners and operators of Purvis Auto Service of Lynn Haven. Elsie and her friend Callie Shepherd traveled all across the United States together. She also loved playing pool, darts, fishing, and crocheting. Elsie also enjoyed going to the Gospel Barn every Monday night.<br /> <br /> She was preceded in death by her husband Charles and a son, Danny Ray Purvis.<br /> <br /> Survivors include her children, Debra Wright (Raymond), Darrell Purvis (Debbie) and Donald Purvis (Kim); her brothers and sisters, Clarence Adkison (Liza), Elaine Cooper (Gene), Eilene Cochran (Tom), and Clyde Adkison; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter.<br /> <br /> A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2021, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Elsie Purvis, 80, of Lynn Haven, passed away June 9, 2021 after an extended illness. Elsie was a native and life-long resident of Bay County, and was Assembly of God by faith. She and her late husband, Charles, were the owners and operators of Purvis Auto Service of Lynn Haven. Elsie and her friend Callie Shepherd traveled all across the United States together. She also loved playing pool, darts, fishing, and crocheting. Elsie also enjoyed going to the Gospel Barn every Monday night.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles and a son, Danny Ray Purvis.

Survivors include her children, Debra Wright (Raymond), Darrell Purvis (Debbie) and Donald Purvis (Kim); her brothers and sisters, Clarence Adkison (Liza), Elaine Cooper (Gene), Eilene Cochran (Tom), and Clyde Adkison; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2021, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. All are invited to attend.
