Isaura Abrantes Da Costa Moreira, 87, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Country Arch Care Center in Pittstown, NJ. She was born in Real, Penalva do Castelo, Viseu, Portugal and came to the United States in 1980 and resided in the Ironbound Section of Newark until settling in Pittstown, NJ with her family. Isaura worked for Ideal Toys in Newark for 5 years. Wife of the late Francisco Moreira; devoted and loving mother of Lourival Moreira and his wife Carlotta; dear sister of Manuel Abrantes Da Costa and the late Mario Abrantes Da Costa; cherished grandmother of Francisco Moreira and his wife Lucy and David Moreira; great-grandmother of Amelia. The Funeral for Isaura will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 8:30 am at the Buyus Funeral Home 426 Lafayette St., at Wilson Ave., Newark, NJ 07105. Thence to St. Benedict’s Church, Newark, where at 9:30 am the Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. Visitation for Isaura will be held on Monday, June 14th from 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Isaura to Alzheimer’s Association www.alz.org would be graciously appreciated.
