Robert “Bob” MacMurray CLARENDON- Robert Francis MacMurray, 78, of Clarendon died Tuesday morning June 8, 2021, at the Burlington Health and Rehab Center following a long illness. He was born on July 2, 1942, in Shushan, NY the son of Lester and Alice (Pinkerton) MacMurray. Mr. MacMurray married Marlene Barker on June 19, 1971, in East Wallingford. He worked in the Maintenance Department at General Electric Company until his retirement in 2002. During his retirement, he worked as a custodian at Mill River Union High School and Heritage Family Credit Union. Mr. MacMurray was very handy, continually doing projects around the house. He enjoyed camping trips with his family, fishing, NASCAR, Bingo and scratch off tickets. He was a member of the Calvary Bible Church. Survivors include his wife Marlene of Clarendon, a daughter Sara LaFountain of Rutland, a son Shawn MacMurray of Wallingford, a brother, Lester MacMurray of Hudson Falls, NY, and three sisters, Rita Hansen of Rutland, Sharon Bolster of Arlington, and Joan Wescott of Missouri, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents a brother John MacMurray. Friends may call from 3pm until 5pm on Sunday June 13, 2021 at the Aldous Funeral Home, 44 North Main St, Rutland, Memorial service will be held 11AM Monday June 14, 2021 at the Calvary Bible Church in Rutland.
