Catalina Gurule was born on April 22, 1930 passed away at the age of 91 on June 5, 2021 in her home surrounded by her family. Catalina was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest P. Gurule of 63 years of marriage. Her daughters, Pauline Lorraine Gurule, Pauline A. Padilla and her son, Ernie Gurule Jr. aka Tinker. 
Catalina is survived by her children, Bonnie Gurule, Jeannie Lucero and husband, Tim, Sam Gurule and wife, Senaida, Anthony Gurule and wife, Janet, Eric Gurule and wife, Carolyn Abeyta, Lisa Dannenbaum and husband, Richard; grandchildren, Nanette and husband, Daric, Michelle and husband, Cameron, Patrick, Elizabeth and husband, Keith, Ashlee, Martijn and wife, Lhamo, Joost, Krystle, Amber, Justin and wife, Brittany, Sam Jr., Samantha, Anthony Jr. and wife, Magaly, Jerome, Roxanne, Isabella, Kristyn, Desiree and husband, Adrian, Grace, Maddison, Richard Jr., and Zachary; great grandchildren, Brooke, Anthony, Greyson, Tristan, Ryan, Weston, Charlotte, Estevan, Frederik, Zeake, Luis, Nickolette, Dominic, Destiny, Andrew, Evan, Janelle, Ezekiel, Harley and Kilian; great great grandchild, Joseph; brothers, Everisto Martinez, Ruben Martinez and wife, Bertha, Sifredo Martinez and wife, Masami and sister-in-laws Mary Gurule, and Albina Mora; son-in-law, Mike Padilla and daughter-in-law, Becky Gurule and many cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends, Paul Zamora and Laura (Weda) Foley.
