Elmet Mand, 78, of Glastonbury, widower of Martha (Sagan) Mand, and beloved husband for 38 years, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019. Elmet, a 38 year resident of Glastonbury, was born in Tallinn, Estonia on June 6, 1941. He was the son of the late Doctor Reverend Ewald Mand and Elli (Jams) Mand, and brother to the late Merike Mand Poldvee, and sister Thati Mand Carter. Elmet served in the United States Air Force and retired from Aetna. He will be dearly missed by his two children, Jessica Mand of Glastonbury, and Eric Mand of New York, NY, and his partner, Carrie Ellen Phillips of New York, NY, and their four children Poppy (9), Matilda (5), Emerson (5) and Iggy Mand (3).
