James E. “JR” Kochanski, Ret. SMSgt Passed peacefully at home with family by his side on June 3, 2021 at the age of 71 years. Loving husband of Cyndy (nee Reopelle) for 48 years. Devoted dad of Kimberly Glover and Darin (Erica) Kochanski. Proud papa of Evelyn Glover, Ezra Glover, and Juliette and Rosalie Kochanski. Dear brother of Kristine (the late Al) Vento and Paul (Donna) Kochanski. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Jim served honorably in the 128th Air National Guard for 33 years, including in support of Operation Desert Storm. He was a Corvette and automobile enthusiast, music lover, pool shark, movie buff, gamblin' man, AJ & the Virtues drummer, youth sports coach (Coach Jim) and sports nut. Most importantly, he was a funny, generous and kind man. Visitation Saturday, June 12 at Harder Funeral Home, 18700 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, from 9 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11 AM. Interment and military honors to follow at Highland Memorial Park, 14875 W. Greenfield Ave.
