James “Jimmy” Palumbo, 34, of Neshanic Station, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at RWJ New Brunswick with his sister Michelle by his side. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, James spent his entire life in Neshanic Station.
James graduated from Immaculata High School, Class of 2006. James then went on to receive his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University.
James worked in Insurance Sales most recently for Martin Insurance in Princeton, NJ.
James was an avid Yankees and Cowboys fan. He loved basketball and traveling, especially traveling to Texas for opening day at Texas Stadium. James enjoyed going down to Atlantic City and the Poconos and enjoyed a good cigar with his friends. One thing James enjoyed the most was spending quality time with his family. His level of love and devotion to his family was unconditional.
He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Elaine Hahn Palumbo (2011), his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Surviving are his loving father Leonard J. Palumbo and his step mother Susan Palumbo, his dear brother Leonard and wife Sherry Palumbo of Grovelands, FL; two loving sisters, Dawn Palumbo of Whitehouse Station, NJ; Michelle Palumbo of Concord, MA; a nephew Michael, and two nieces Miranda and Isabella.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 3-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876.
A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 9:15am. A funeral mass will follow at 10am at St. Bernard R.C. Church in Bridgewater, NJ. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery. Family and friends following the burial for a repast and to celebrate Jimmy’s life.
