Robert Joseph Braunig passed away on May 15, 2021. Born on May 6, 1949 in Shreveport, Louisiana, Robert was preceded in death by his loving parents William Braunig Sr. and Regina Joseph Braunig, and his adoring wife Fran Braunig. Robert leaves behind son Asher (Ashly) Braunig and daughter Jasmine (Donald) Avery and grandchildren Benjamin Braunig and Savannah and Grace Avery as well as brother Bill (Helaine) Braunig and faithful sister-in-law Davasha Stalarow. Robert loved to fish and kayak and was the king of “dad jokes” and will be missed tremendously. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Bellaire Club at 5625A Beechnut, Houston, TX 77096.
