David Drew had three great loves in his life. His wife, his kids and Hockey. He spent his youth playing and tried out for the Rangers when he was in college. He met his wife of 37 years in 1982 and had five amazing children. He was a hard working man who sacrificed much for his family and people he cared about. His nickname at his job was “Big Dave” and his gregarious personality and generous spirit were the main reasons he was beloved by all who knew him. That spirit extended to his family as well. He always pushed his children to not be afraid to try new things. He was fun loving and a character who enjoyed life and his wife and children. David always provided for his family and made sure they were able to make wonderful memories together. Yearly trips to Hershey Park and other family adventures filled them all with great memories they still talk about to this day. David was a devoted husband who loved his wife Lucille very much and gave her a life filled with laughter and fun not only during the good times, but when things got hard as well. He was the primary caregiver of their first born daughter, Nicole who has Cerebral Palsy and was devoted to making sure she lives a life that is normal and happy. He was a loving husband and father who is survived by his wife Lucille, his daughters Nicole, Kristen, Tina and his son’s David Jr. , Vincent and his son in-law, Steven.
