It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Maria Sanna at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband Calogero of 70 wonderful years. Loving mother to Lucia (Felice), Giuseppe (late Leonarda), Francesco (Sharda), & Salvatore (Caterina). Cherished Nonna of Nicolò (Gisella), Calogero (Rosanna), Maria (Luigi), Adriana, Gesua, Fabrizio (Diana), Calogero (Kristina), Mary, Ashley & Christina. Proud Bisnonna of Nick, Christopher, Matthew, Giulia, Jacqueline, Alessandro, Isabella, Alessandro, Isabella, Mila, Soraya, Valentina, Mason, Julian, Mateus & Gabriella. Predeceased by her brother Giuseppe Vella & Sister Leonarda Vella. Aunt of many nieces & nephews in Canada & Italy. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Maria’s honor to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Scheduled visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Visitation Centre (8003 Weston Rd. 905-850-9500) on Saturday May 22, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for immediate family only. In order to schedule a time to come in, a family password is needed. Due to Covid-19 Restrictions, a private chapel service and entombment service will take place on Saturday May 22, 2021.
