Paul Larry Haass of Middletown, De, age 79 went passed away on May 15, 2021. He was born in Ridgely, Md, the son of the late Paul Haass and Elsie Mae (Schmidt) Haass-Hudson. He is also preceded in death by his wife Beatrice Jean (Porter) Haass, step-father Carlton Amos Hudson, step-son John Yearwood and two grandchildren Mark and Carrie Haass.
In his early years he worked side by side with his father learning the construction trade. Later father and son started Haass & Son Construction Company. He served a short term in the Merchant Marines where he learned to be a steam operator. He then went to work as a steam engineer at Chrysler Corporation.
