Joseph B. Brennan of Perkasie, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was 90. Born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Martin and Marie (Gebelein) Brennan, Joe resided in Bensalem, PA, before moving to Perkasie, PA, 23 years ago. Joe was formerly employed as a manager with a retail food store and also worked as a salesperson in the food brokerage industry. He was a member and usher at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church of Hilltown, PA. Joe enjoyed telling jokes, bowling, collecting coins, learning about past U.S. Presidents, and playing cards. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. He will be sadly missed by his furry feline friends — Gabby, Pippi Longtail, Lizzy, and AC. He was the beloved husband of Hildegard Brennan for 22 years and was previously married to the late Theresa Brennan. Joe was the devoted father of Donnamarie Esche (Richard), Mark Brennan (Lisa M.), Gary Brennan (Lisa Ann), and the late Joseph Brennan (who is survived by his wife Patricia); loving stepfather of Hilda D. Guay, Aaron Guay, Brian Guay (Diane), Amy B. Pressler (Charles), and Michelle Guay; dear brother of Rose Marie LaSalvia (Ronald), Donald Brennan (Dorothy), Bernard Brennan (Margaret), and the late Eleanor Chionchio and Martin F. Brennan Jr.; cherished grandfather of Joseph, Christine, Richard, Eileen, Pamela, Theresa, Gary Michael, Matthew, Nicholas, Dylan, Eric, and the late Chelsea; step grandfather of Taran, Ryan, and Julian. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. A viewing will be held at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 100 Broad Street, Hilltown, PA 18927 on Friday, May 21st from 10:00-11:00 am, with a funeral mass to begin at 11:00 am.
