Donald A. Carter, 48, of Perry Township, passed away on May 12, 2021. He was born on September 27, 1972 the son of the late Edmund and Patricia Carter of Canton, Ohio. He was a man of faith and was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Donald graduated from GlenOak High School with the class of 1991. He was a member of the Local Union #94 as a Plumber and Pipe Fitter. Donald has touched many lives with his great sense of humour, dedication, and his loving and caring attitude. He had many accomplishments but his greatest was his love for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Michael Carter; and father-in-law Kenneth Smith. Donald is survived by his childhood sweetheart and loving wife of 25 years, Karen L. (Smith) Carter; sons Haydon Carter and Collin Carter; siblings Terese Carter and Edmund (Angela) Carter; mother-in-law Patricia Smith; sister-in-law Paula (Paul) Lesniak; niece Sydney Smith; and an abundance of many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 3:00PM to 4:00PM Friday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (4940 W. Tuscarawas St. Canton) where a Funeral Mass will be held at 4:00PM with Fr. G. David Weikart.
