Kent Randall Shields of Norman passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021. He was born March 30, 1966 in Talihina Oklahoma to Minnie and Joseph Shields. <br /><br />Kent leaves behind his wife, Carol Shields, one son, Gregg Shields, three stepdaughters, Noetta Harjo, Bree Harjo and Sinda Awsumb, sisters Rose Jefferson, Mae Hamilton, Imogene Walker, Louise Shields, Mary Whitecloud, Gayle Clark, Carol Fox and Marla Key and their families, nine grandchildren, Brandon Harjo, Christopher Chalakee, Justin Wilbanks, Lillian Harjo, Grace Shields, Nikko Shields, Araden Shields, Anora Shields, and Aadon Shields; and numerous nieces and nephews.<br /><br />He is preceded in death by his parents Minnie and Joseph Shields; brothers Charles, Harlan, Simon and Jacob Shields; nephews Steven Hamilton and Alan Gipson, and niece Deedra Jefferson. <br /><br />The family will have a graveside ceremony on Wednesday, May 19 at 2 PM at Steedman cemetery in Allen Oklahoma. <br /><br />Viewing is available at Estes-Phillips Funeral Home in Ada, Oklahoma. <br />Obituary
