Dorothy Ann Bates was born on July 25, 1955 to the late Rosetta Bates and late James Williams in Delhi, LA. She went on to be with the Lord Sunday May, 9, 2021.

Dorothy moved to Las Vegas, NV in April of 1976 where she worked doing house keeping until early retirement.

Dorothy had a love for God and was a member of Mt. Zion full gospel fellowship under Bishop Wayne Arnold for years. Her wisdom, love and kind heartedness with everyone she came in contact with.

Dorothy loved to be on the go and travel before getting down ill she loved playing cards and listening to music with family and friends.

She was lovingly known as Ms. Pretty, Momma, granny, sister, and tee-tee.

Dorothy leaves to mourn her (2) children Deangelo Bates and Rotarsia Bates (4) grandchildren Saniya Bates, Andre Rainy Jr., Yestani Ross and preceded her in death Qwenyada Bates (1) godchild Charles (Chucky) Lewis (6) sisters Irene Young, Brenda Montgomery, Rodessa Finley, preceded in death Catherine Brown, Jerry Montgomery, and Brigette Williams (2) brothers Kenneth Carter and preceded her in death Terri Montgomery and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
