Mary Geneva Allen

Mary Geneva Allen, 91 a long time resident of Seminole, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021 at her home. <br /><br />She was born on April 13, 1930 in Seminole, Oklahoma to the late Richard Lon Yancey and Lillie Mae Ross Yancey.<br /><br />She was married to the late George Wayne Allen where they married in Seminole on June 24, 1953. <br /><br />Mary attended Car City School. She loved to gardening, sewing, cooking and fishing. She enjoyed being with her family and helped raised her grandchildren. She was of Baptist faith attending church at First Baptist Church in Seminole. She worked at Wewoka Donut Shop and Bryants Bakery, and meat processing in Muirs.<br /><br />Preceding her in death were parents, Richard Lon Yancey and Lillie Mae Ross Yancey, husband, George Wayne Allen, sons, Lonnie Presley and Troy Allen, siblings: Clint Sonny Yancey, Howard Yancey, Katherine Kay, Juanita Frazier, Carl Bo Yancey, Helen Earls, Patricia Yancey, and Don Yancey. <br /><br />Survivors include her children: Ronnie Mike Presley of Wewoka, Jeannie & Eddie Jones of Broken Arrow, Donna Jo Harris of Seminole, Pamela Kinder of Stratford, Paula Allen of Wewoka, George & Teresa Allen of Wewoka, Roy Allen of Wewoka, Tracey Short of Wewoka, Angie Campbell of Ada, Melody & Bruce Finnie of Cromwell, Raymond & Stacey of Wewoka, 26 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, brother, Bobby Yancey of Earlsboro, and sister in law Linda Yancey of Seminole. <br /><br />Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Stout-Phillips Chapel in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Officiating will be Pastor Jimmy Moreland. Interment will be Little Cemetery at Little, Oklahoma. <br /><br />Pallbearers will include Tommy Yancey, Larry Byrd, Josh Streater, Bruce Finnie, Dusty Hatfield, and Raymond Ward Jr.<br /><br />Honorary Pallbearers will include Roy Allen, George Allen, and River Ward.<br /><br />Service will be under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home. <br />
