<p>Catherine S. Brown, age 82, passed away on May 11, 2021 in Gulfport, MS.<br /> <br /> She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Joseph S. Brown, Jr; and a son, Joseph S. Brown.<br /> <br /> Mrs. Brown is survived by her 2 daughters, Ruthann Barnett (Larry Stewart) and Jacqueline Marie Mitchell; 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.<br /> <br /> She was a native of Collins, MS and had been a longtime resident of Gulfport. She worked for the Biloxi VA Medical Center where she retired after many years of dedicated service. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and baking. She was a member of St. Paul AME Church and was attending Ramsay Memorial United Methodist Church.<br /> <br /> The family would like to express gratitude and heartfelt thanks to all those who have supported us with many acts of love, kindness and prayers.
