Cindy Ann Johnson Obituary

Cindy Ann Wilkerson Johnson, 72, was born in Anaconda, MT and was call upon in heaven on May 11, 2021 due to natural causes. She was born on December 12, 1948 and was a Catholic.

Her parents are Genevieve and Leo Reisenauer. Cindy was the oldest of five siblings, three sisters, Vickey Sturm, Sandra L. Rigney and Antoinette Reisenauer and two brothers, Patrick and Michael Rigney. She had two children, Michael (Mick) Myers and Jorien (Jori) Fitzpatrick. Three beautiful grandchildren, Harley Burd, Michael Fitzpatrick and Noah Washburn, three great grandchildren, Kiah and Oaklynn Burd and Colter Fitzpatrick. Her best friends were Connie Staudohar and her puppy Rudy. Her ex-husband of 42 years, Dale Johnson, whom she shared many adventures with.

 

Cindy went to Anaconda High where she was a cheerleader and on the drill team. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Great Falls in Social Work. She always worked tirelessly in the area of human behavioral development, giving her love to endless folks and kids needing caring human services. She was a Guardian Ad Litem for kids in need in her spare time. She worked for Kermit’s Pad, Warm Springs, New Directions and ended her career with AWARE.

 

Back in the day, she played on softball teams and won a few tournaments. She was also a bowler for many years and won many state tournaments. Once life moved on, she started to play shuffleboard, even for the same team for about 20 years (JFK 1). She and the “girls” would get together on Thursday nights for ceramics night, and they would throw each other birthday parties which is known as the “Birthday Club”. She also loved going for rides, bonfires with friends, camping with family, snowmobiling, spending time with her granddaughter and making trips to Washington to see family and shop. She also rode with the Cossacks for many years and loved going on road trips on the bike with her ex-husband Dale.

 

Cindy is survived by her mother Genevieve Reisenauer, her children Mick (Vickie) Myers and Jori (Donnie) Fitzpatrick, grandchildren Harley Burd, Mickey Joe Fitzpatrick and Noah Washburn, great grandchildren, Kiah and Oaklynn Burd and Colter Fitzpatrick, siblings, Vickey Sturm, Sandy, Pat and Mike Rigney and Antoinette Reisenauer, many nieces, nephews and cousins, her puppy Rudy and ex-husband Dale Johnson.

 

She is preceded in death by her father Leo Reisenauer, grandparents Justina (Heihn) and Anton Skocilich, uncles and aunts, Larry, John and Matt Skocilich, Francy Stoumbaugh and Margaret Torney.

Cremation has taken place and the JFK is holding a benefit for her on May 28th.
