Luella B. House, age 82 of Nebraska City died May 11, 2021 at her home. Luella was born September 19, 1938 in Bennet, the daughter of Sylvester and Lula (Peters) Boell. She married Larry M. House June 4, 1959 in Lincoln. Larry died February 15, 1996. Luella formerly lived in Lincoln before moving to Nebraska City several years ago. She worked as a telephone operator for Lincoln Telephone & Telegraph for 21 years in Nebraska City, then 5 years in Lincoln. In later years, she worked at Pendleton’s and the Paper Factory. Luella was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church and loved knitting, crocheting, spending time with her family and cats. Survivors include her daughter, Diane (Dale) Hoyle of Nebraska City; grandchildren, Derek (Jamie) Hoyle of Lincoln, Richelle (Sean) Santana of Nebraska City and Alyssa (Chris) Leininger of Lincoln; great grandchildren, Madalyn Hoyle, Noah Hoyle, Emma Santana, Hailey Leininger, Paetyn Leininger and Brooklynn Leininger; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter and son in law, Debra, and Richard Eacret; brother, Floyd Boell and sister, Lorene Kirchner.
