Francy Dennin Obituary

Born Frances Elizabeth Dennin on Wednesday, October 16, 1963, Francy spent her life living the standard of “The Golden Rule.” Regardless of how any person treated her, she continuously did unto others as she wished to have done unto her. Retiring after 33 years with The State of Delaware, she was an impressively accomplished accountant working as the Chief Financial Officer of Toll Operations. Beyond her career, she felt a strong compassion for all creatures, providing food and outdoor shelter for a variety of feral animals while also working with a few charity, rescue, and foster organizations. Most importantly, Francy was an unyieldingly loyal friend, an endlessly devoted daughter, and a bottomless well of love and support for her own daughter. She was welcomed into the hereafter on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 by her father, Joseph Dennin; grandfather, Max Stopfer; grandmother, Frances Vesco; son-in-law, Darrell Bell; ornery Irish aunt, Maria Allen; loving childhood friend, Darrell Mitchell; beloved golden retriever, Dusty; and her highly-exalted kitty, Tabatha Jane. Left on this plane with priceless memories are her adoring daughter, Brenda Bell; her beloved mother, Maxine Stopfer; her always-reliable step-father, Taysir Tayeb; her “Mommy-Friend,” Marianne Dennin; her heart-of-gold aunt, Bettylou Eckenrod; her tough-as-nails aunt, Bea Feeney; her brother-from-another-mother, David Quillen; her sister-by-choice, Alfreda Daniels; her long-time partner-in-crime, Sharon Latocha; her much-adored friend, John “Miles” Nored; her precious-&-spoiled fur-babies, Tommy, Duckie, Sylvester, Gobblette, Monkey, Sabrina, Lilliana, and Bunniana; and a countless list of loved ones of various species in this world. Francy was laid to rest in Sharon Hills Memorial Park on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. For those who wish to honor her, a special request has been made: “Listen to a song that reminds you of our time together, kick back, and dance in your memories with me.” -- Francy Dennin
