Robert L. Bedlion, Sr.
<p><strong>Robert L. Bedlion, Sr.</strong>, 81, passed away on May 5, 2021. He was born August 24, 1939 in New Philadelphia, OH to the late <strong>Herbert </strong>and <strong>Alice Bedlum</strong>. He worked as a truck driver for UPS and was a 41 year member of Teamsters #348. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.</p> <p><strong>Robert</strong> was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, <strong>Carina</strong>; four brothers; and one sister. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, <strong>Lucille</strong>; children, <strong>Robert Bedlion, Jr.</strong>, <strong>Patrick (Charlotte) Bedlion</strong>, <strong>Rebecca (Wade) Baer</strong>, and <strong>Barry (Yvette) Bedlion</strong>; sisters, <strong>Margaret Page</strong> and <strong>Kay Pfaff</strong>; grandchildren, <strong>Matthew</strong>, <strong>Zachery</strong>, <strong>Justin (Amanda)</strong>, <strong>Brittany</strong>, <strong>Paige (Brooks)</strong>, and <strong>Brian</strong>; and three great-grandchildren.</p> <p>Friends may call at Bacher Moore Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd., Akron on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m., where services will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 11 a.m. Interment at Clinton Cemetery.</p> <p>For the safety of the family and other guests, masks are required, and the number of people permitted in the building at a time will be limited.
