Inis Harrell Coleman, 92, of Martinsville, VA passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 at Stanleytown Health and Rehab. She was born March 20, 1929 in Fieldale, VA to the late Roy G. Harrell, Sr. and Bessie M. Harrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Coleman; daughter, Joyce Ann Hayzlett; son, Roger Hayzlett; sisters, Eileen Plybon, Louise James, Virginia Jarrett, and Faye Curry; and brothers, Graham, David, William, and Garland Harrell. She is survived by her sons, Robert L. Hayzlett, Jr. (Patricia) of Martinsville, VA and David L. Hayzlett of Martinsville, VA; grandchildren, Joseph, Chris, Brian, and Mary Hayzlett, and Brandi Cannaday; great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Bryce, and Heidi Hayzlett, Khloe Carrier, Kendall Martin, Everett Cannaday, and Alex Conrad; and brother, Roy Harrell, Jr. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Thomasson Heights Baptist Church with Pastor R. Wayne Fulcher officiating. Visitation will be from 2:30 to 3 p.m. prior to the service. The family would like to thank Stanleytown Health and Rehab for their patience and care for Inis.
